Disability Support Worker – Holden Hill (Adelaide)
Location: Holden Hill, SA
Hours: Approx. 20 hrs/week (Afternoons + Weekend shifts)
Start: ASAP

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced support worker to help support a woman with an ABI. Experienced with Brain Injuries is highly regarded, as well as and education such as a Cert 3 or 4 in individual support or mental health. Support shifts will focus on:
Domestic assistance
Meal preparation and cooking
Community access
Appointment support
Task prompting and organisation
Light household duties (e.g. bins, tidying)
Encouragement with personal goals (gym attendance, leaving home confidently)
This is a relationship-focused role. The participant is seeking workers who:
Are patient and emotionally intelligent
Understand cognitive fatigue and memory impairment
Can follow written task systems
Communicate respectfully and gently
Build trust gradually
Work calmly and at her pace
Consistency is essential — we are recruiting 1–2 long-term workers only.
Applicants must have:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
National Police Check
Valid Driver’s Licence
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Experience supporting people with neurological conditions, brain injury, or complex needs
Strong communication skills
Professional boundaries and reliability
Experience with seizures or epilepsy support
Experience with cognitive or memory impairment
Mental health or behavioural support background
Allied health, disability, or nursing student background
